Just thought some ppl would get a kick out of this.
On sunday I ran into poxie, with his -4.4 sec status trying to dock in orvolle. I locked him up in hopes of him shooting me so that I could attack him with no penalty. After about 15 seconds of this I figured he wasn't going for it but noticed that I had closed to optimal firining range for all my weapons.
A quick info request on his char told me he had 877k isk reward. Well being in a battleship I figured, what the hell. I deployed 8 hvy drones and I open fired.
6 Weapons unleashed on Poxie's poor thorax along with 8 hvy drones tearing it apart in 2 bursts, roughly 6 seconds. At this point police and the station turrets were very upset with me and I was watching my shields disappear.
I started the target lock on his pod, as the point of this whole thing was to nail his pod, and waited patiently as more police showed up. Finally the lock came and again all my weapons fired on the poor little pod. Boom!!
Now I needed to get into the station so the cops wouldn't kill me. I kicked on my mwd and headed in, the cops were now eating away at my armor and my ship seemed to be bouncing off parts of the station taking it's sweet time to get into docking range, as fate would have it the bouncing moved me within 1700k of the cargo container left by his ship, as ppl were around watchign and wondering what was going on i was very eager to clean out the can before someoen else got to it. But being just a few meters too far i couldn't get it. After about 50% of my armour was gone my ship finally got into docking range and docked safely. 877k in the bank :). And the satisfaction of knowing poxie would be buying a new clone, new ships and some new weapons.
After some time passed and I could procede out again I came to find that the cargo he'd left was nothign but store bought crap. Thanx for nothign. An assortment of light drones, some ammo, 3 hvy ion blasters, and a med shield booster. Not one rare thing!
